    With my carefully curated blend of plant protein and gluten free flours, I’ll keep you and your whole crew fuller for longer!

    Have me on hand, and you’ll be running on the power of the mighty Australian Faba protein which makes me smooth and creamy. None of the gritty, proteiny taste here! 

    Better, yet I’m even Gluten Free, but you’d never know as I taste so good!


    But just a little word between friends, please don’t use me with our collagen or vegan egg replacer. I’m full of protein as is and these two things really don’t make me shine as the best Protein Banana Bread on offer. 


    I’d never want to disappoint you, so please just keep me nice and simple. 

  • How to make me?

    What you’ll need to bake me good: 

    3 spotty bananas, peeled (350g)

    3 eggs

    ½ cup olive oil



    Preheat oven to 160°C (fan forced) and line a large loaf tin with baking paper

    In a large bowl mash the bananas and combine

    with eggs & oil

    Add the Spotty Banana Bread baking mix, stir until combined and pour the mixture into the tin

    Bake for 50 minutes 

    Remove from tin, place on a cooling rack, pop the kettle on and call the tribe to the table!

    So how much protein do I actually have?


    So glad you asked! I am double the protein compared to my Traditional Spotty countperpart and have more protein than one and a half boiled eggs!


    All of this actually equates to over 8g per slice.


    Am I a vegan?


    Oh no, sorry hunny I’m not.


    As I’m full of protein as it is, I don’t want to disappoint you by adding vegan egg replacer or collagen. These additions don’t bring out the best taste or texture in me.

    What is Faba Protein?


    Faba protein is the new kid on the block when it comes to plant proteins, and even better, ours is sourced from VIC, Australia! 


    This original protein is Australia's first Plant Protein and the cleanest on the market. As well as being Australian, this new Faba Protein has a smooth and creamy texture with no grittiness in sight that comes from other plant proteins! We think that’s a triple win!


    Is Protein Banana Bread safe if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?


    We use a nutritious blend of natural and organic ingredients, and our plant protein is a pure Australian faba protein with nothing added.


    If you have particular dietary needs or conditions we always recommend checking with your trusted medical advisor.


    How do you store me? 


    Now I’m an actual loaf, I’m best kept in the fridge (1-4C) and eaten within 3 days (but I rarely last that long!). 


    Want me to hang around longer? 


    I’m happy to hang out in your freezer (-18C) with those mixed veggies and icecream for 3 months. 


    Store dry mix in a cool dry place away from light. 


    Can you use butter instead of oil to make me? 


    Best pop the butter back in the fridge. 


    Oil is what helps me bake into a beautiful light and fluffy loaf. 


    Butter will turn me into a firm loaf once you put me in the fridge, so it won’t be the best banana bread experience of your life….and we wouldn’t want that!

Full Ingredient Glossary


New Zealand rainwater. Mostly used as a solvent in which it dissolves many of the ingredients used to impart skin benefits.


Acts as a solvent to help dissolve the fragrance oils into the water.


Derived from sugar beet, it helps the skin retain moisture by reducing TEWL (trans-epidermal water loss) and creating a stronger skin barrier; this allows the skin to rehydrate itself quickly.

Sodium ascorbyl phosphate

A derivative of vitamin c, this supercharged antioxidant helps protect the skin against photo damage of the skin including premature ageing; keeping it looking fresh and healthy.

As delicious as the original


This is the first time that I have had protein bread. It tasted just like normal Banana Bread. It was very easy to make, and tasted amazing!


This banana bread is delicious! It smells amazing while cooking, and is easy to make. The texture is good and toasts well. I will definitely make this again.


This is a great product, be careful as mine sunk in the middle when I took it out of the oven. Protein Banana Bread was quick and easy to assemble with the addition of three ingredients. You can see how beautiful and rich this loaf looks and tastes for yourself.


This came out much better that I expected for a protein version. Loved the taste too!! Don�t think anyone would make out the this is a protein version.
